The Maturity Model is an interactive tool designed to assist public sector bodies identify their governance risk profile, assess the state of their current governance framework, and plan any future improvements if necessary. The Maturity Model further allows public sector bodies to compare their performance over time as well as (on a de-identified basis) with that of other agencies.

At the moment, access to the Maturity Model is restricted to public sector bodies and their registered users. A public version of the tool will be available shortly. To obtain access to the system for a public sector organisation, the chief executive officer is required to send a formal request to ggg@opssc.wa.gov.au nominating his/her organisation’s authorised key contact for the purpose of using the Maturity Model.
