In the Public Interest – a guide for CEOs aims to assist CEOs when they are considering matters which they believe may be in the public interest, but which they are not compelled to release through other provisions.
Political impartiality
Political impartiality requires public servants to demonstrate loyalty to the State of Western Australia, led by the duly elected Government, and to successive Governments. Political impartiality enables successive governments to have confidence in the public sector. The way public servants interact with the public affects the way the public will view your organisation and the public sector as a whole.
