What does OPSSC report?

Section 22 of the PID Act requires the Commissioner to report annually to Parliament on:

  • the Commissioner’s obligations under the PID Act;
  • compliance or non-compliance with the PID Act; and
  • compliance or non-compliance with the PID Officer’s code of conduct and integrity.

The Commissioner may also at any time lay before each House of Parliament a report on any matter arising in connection with the Commissioner’s functions under the Act.

To enable the Commissioner to meet these obligations, public authorities provide information to the Commissioner.

You can find information about PID in the OPSSC's annual State of the Service Report.
