This website has been created to provide information about the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2003 (the PID Act), both for the individual thinking of making a disclosure and for public authorities looking for information to assist them in complying with their obligations under the Act.

The PID Act enables people to make disclosures about improper conduct within the State public sector, local government and public universities without fear of reprisal.
